The 2001 FOMGA Season Is Complete
Contributed by Rob Cunningham on Sept. 23, 2001

The 2001 FOMGA season is complete and, in the closest pair of contests ever, we have a split championship.

John Kolb retains the drivers championship by one point over Jay Dragonetti, but Jay's ACME team took the constructors title by two points over John's BRM team. Winning the final race of the season was Mario Andretti of Kevin Keller's Pennzoil team, with the ACMEs second and third.
